Hi all, the Aston has got its first fault, it woke up this morning and decided it didnt need a rear right brake/backlight, or a front left sidelight. Ive used the "reset" button below the rear passenger seat, locked it and unlocked it, and the best I can get is for the light to come on for 3 seconds then go off again. Anyone ecountered this before? I can't locate the brakelamp fuse, so I take it this is a job for Newport Pagnell?

Anyone know which is the more reliable between an LP640 and SLR? As much as I love the DB9, I think its time for a change.

you want to change it just because a rear light doesn't work??

seems a bit extreme...

No, this is my second '9, the first having been replaced due to it being plagued with paint problems, this has been fine until now, however I tend to change cars every 2 years maximum to be honest, this is just a catalyst for change.

Why would anybody actually want an SLR though?

Are you still replacing it?

Yes, probably around September, Im viewing a few cars this week, comprised of a Murcielago, Gallardo, and 599. Im undecided about the SLR as Ive heard bad things straight from the horses mouth. I've even considered a 9ff of some description.

To reiterate, this has nothing to do with a simple fault, Id have a new car every week if this were the case, Im just "bored" of the aston, and not a fan of the direction with which the company is taking, I want something more exclusive as well.

Cant argue with a 599. Best thing Ferrari have produced since the F40.
