db7 vantage spare wheel?

dose a db7 vantage sopose to have one of those spray can thinks instead of a spare wheel?

As far as I know, the spare wheel was an "option". I've got a can of tyre weld (and saw similar on plenty of others), but have seen a few with spare wheels, too. For me, anything that can shave a few KGs of weight off the old girl has got to be a good thing!

I hate tyre weld - really knackers a tyre that could otherwise be repaired fairly easily. Keep some in the car "just in case", but would generally call out the AA rather than use it.

I've called them out before just to borrow a pair of long-nosed pliers when I couldn't get to a fuse that'd blown on the Cerb.

Would probably suggest not mentioning that you had tyre weld under those circumstances, though!

The DB7 Vantage had a space saver spare wheel up until 2001 MY when it was replaced with 2 cans of tyre weld and an increase in boot space.

I have a spare wheel on my DB7 (and I've used it). It was modified at Works Service prior to delivery: cost £174.60 + VAT in 2000
