A guy on a Focus ST forum claims to own it.

Not saying he's lying but he's 25 and has also claimed to have owned Boxster, 911, DB7 Volante, 360 Spider, Cayenne Turbo, SL55. Oh and he has a 599GTB on the way...

Might have trouble driving it around what looks like a building site. Parked next to his 1.8 Zetec...

More pics here including the interior.

I recall some time ago on Scoobynet there was young chap (similar profile) claiming to have had a selection of exotica, limited edition scoobies and evos. He laughed off the Evo forum, then scoobynet so it wouldn't suprise me if it isn't him and he's moved on.

Looks a lot like K**5YYS on one of the other pics (clicky) which RAC has listed as 3dr hatchback blue petrol. No listing for K**5VVS.

edit to remove #plate guesses

There are a couple of young guys about with lots of expensive kit. A fellow PH has a Ruf Turbo and he's about 90 years younger than me. (Or maybe I just feel 90 years older than him).

Me neither, but on FFOC* he owns an ST and has never mentioned an Aston. Pretty sure the Focus in his pics is an elderly Zetec

Yeah, I know adamt has access to several amazing cars. eddhick even more so. It's just that they are massively more plausible* than this guy tbops.

In the thread (which suspiciously has now been deleted) he said he is keeping the Focus 1.8 Zetec because it's not worth anything to sell. And yet in the same sentence he talks about getting a £170k 599GTB this year.

As J111 says, on a different Focus forum he doesn't mention the Aston and on a thread about what ST owners had previously he seems to forget his 911, the 360 Spider (which he trashed jumping over a train track!) and the Cayenne Turbo.

*adam & ed's situations are more than just "plausible" as several other PH members and 5th Gear can testify!

Maybe he's part of the P1 club/similar - gets the car for 1 weekend per year?

This sounds like a witch hunt and its happened to me before and im also 25. Dont right him off, maybe its his building development and he uses his focus to get around. Who knows????????

Maybe he's talking out his ar*e but i cant believe when people actually start checking up car details. When someone thought i was lying about my profession(A fellow PH'er) they actually looked me up on the SFA register.

Thats someone with too much time on there hands.

Oi ... apologies were returned (but you were getting v gobby!!)

BTW ... if the picture of the AMV8 is taken outside his house then it looks like his car is worth more than his house

Would you still have a smile on your face at the end of the year?

If so, the problem is theirs, not yours

Anyone notice that the AMV8 is LHD? Strange choice for a car produced in the UK.....
Unless the owner was speculating to sell it abroad, or likes his cars to depreciate rapidly......

Or maybe it is a visiting friend/relative?

You find that on any car that the early motors tend to be left hookers whether they're brits or not

Isn't he driving it on UK roads though....?

The AMv8 was also released to the UK RHD market first. Deosn't really make much sense....

It is a UK street, the Focus is RHD but the Aston LHD, with no English road tax on it either. Reg is K* 53 YYS i think?!

The fact that it's LHD with a UK plate on it though suggests it is a kushdi UK car?!

Thats a HUGE assumption!! UK plate means it's registered in the UK but apart from that it means nothing!!! It's probably either an import OR was a winning car from Best of the Best who often have left hookers as prizes!!! I

It could be a factory car? A great proportion of their "development" fleet are apparently LHD (on UK plates) due to the amount of testing done abroard. I would suggest that he works for AM ( also he drives a Ford Focus which would tie in!)

I also believe that a lot of the cars registered by Aston and Land Rover have the K prefix because of the region that Gaydon is in.

Curiouser and curiouser. He might well work for AM because his ST was bought with a priviledge (Ford employee) discount and this car might be one that he'd borrowed from work?

Mind you, it doesn't explain the fact that he has a 599GTB coming at the end of the year...

Hey, the guy might be completely legit and has money to throw around but chooses ordinary cars for the daily grind? Maybe I'm just to cynical?

It does happen; not too far from me lived a guy in a £150k house and owned a £100k (at the time) 360 Modena!
