sorry to ask the obvious, but could anyone give an opinion on this please:
http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/

..on the basis of; is it a good spec/price/buy on the face of it, as it seems quite reasonable to me, but I'm a rank amateur with AM's.

Many thanks in advance,
Matt.

You're not likely to find a good DB7 much cheaper. All you need to do now is establish that it is a good one.

Have you seen this PH feature?

that is quite a tidy looking Volante, i would definetely go and have a look at it and see what you think remember that condition and history are all important factors too.
good luck if you decide to buy it!

get the Aston you want to buy thorougly inspected by an INDIPENDENT person. By indipendent I mean a person that does NOT SELL cars.

It can save you thousands of pounds later... skip this bit and you take your chances... that would be expensive with an Aston

Good luck!

What a car for the money!! I'd go for it, but definatly get a specialist opinion before buying one. If you go for it, then the best of luck to you.

There’s a 1999 ‘V’ Vantage Volante auto advertised on desperate seller for £25,000.

Left messages for the one in AutoTrader but got no replies.. As for "desperate seller" I don't know of this, but by the title there's gotta be something wrong with it..?

I also tried to contact the seller of this car. Eventually got a reply via email. "Apparently"
the car is now in italy as he was working in London and his contract has now expired. If I would like to buy the car quickly for only 22k could I please deposit the money in his account and he would then get his mate to drive it back to the UK along with all the paperwork and bill of sale.

My reply was just two words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cut and pasted from my inbox! Just to make you laugh.

Hello,

As I told you in my previous e-mail, we just went back to Italy. One of my
friends will handle the shipping, but I cannot ask him to
meet all interested customers. I must tell you that I have lots of interested
customers (as you can imagine, at this low price) and if you want to buy this
vehicle we will make the deal through AutoTrader. After I will have the payment
confirmation I will make all the shipping arrangements and you will receive the
car in no more than 7 days. The vehicle will be delivered with the sale papers
of the signed vehicles, the purchase bill of the vehicle, the immatriculation
certificate of the vehicle, the homologation and the guarantee notebook of the
vehicle and all the relevant bills of the revisions and 2 extra keys. AutoTrader
will provide you the details where you have to send the 32000 EUR
(22000 GBP). When I'll have their confirmation that you send the money to them,
I'll arrange the shipping right away. After you'll receive the car and the papers you'll have
a 15 days acceptance period. ( that means you'll have 15 days to inspect them and
let ebay know, whether you keep the vehicle or not). I trust my car's
condition and hopefully you'll keep it. The car was verified, so from my
point of view you'll decided to keep it without any reserve.
After those 15 days if you announce AutoTrader you'll keep the car, they'll
transfer the money into my bank account. Otherwise (if the car or the
papers will have any problem) you'll be refunded and I'll be responsable
for taking back the vehicle. Since I'm the one that came with the ideea of using
AutoTrader, I'll pay the fees.

I'll wait for your decision,

Oh dear.

Oh dear, oh dear.

There’s some words in there that I will have to look up in the dictionary.
