These Astons still seem to have a lot of presence on the road, even standing still they have an air of menace about em, prices seem to be rising a bit, making the hop up to the 90's V8 Vantage that bit narrower.

Dear Mark

I guess you could put the question on the AMOC website

I am sure someone knows the answer!

I know where is the V8 Vantage "Cannonball" seen in CAR October 1982 (owned by Victor Gauntlett)... but my knowledge about past ownership of these cars ends there

Mark -- do you mean the mid blue vantage which was owned originally by Victor Gauntlett?

If so, we know exactly where it is...

Now, Speaking as a Socialist........I would say that this beast...is the ideal of "the peoples car"......was the ruddy "Volkswagen" the best that Herr Hitler could offer HIS people?....

More Power to the revolution Gentlemen, one day we will ALL drive machines like these (built in Britain [by a British owned company] ....) (OK let's buy it back when they get fed up)....

Besides.....It would look GREAT parked alongside my socialist peoples Jag!....

Its at Rikki Cann in southend. He bought it a few weeks ago -- shocking bad shape, to be honest. Howerver, its having a full nut and bolt rebuild which has already started.

Lovely car.

I hope the engine is still original,I'd love to know what head and cams it has, compered to a normal vantage.

when I bought mine one could have a moderate mileage V8 Vantage for around £55,000 in excellent condition. Now one has to pay £65- £75,000 for a low mileage while for £55,000 you can get something in need of some "care"...

80s V8 Vantages will be £100,000 in 4 years and the V8 Vantage Volante expect £120,000
