i would hardly say that it was "totalled"! But certainly not a cheap repair

Wings and nose are composite hence it looks like it does.

Somehow think this is a sham. Where is the external damage? Looks like it has been torn away and composite or not I just don't think it is real. Unless it was hooked up to a trailer!

It's a horrible sight to behold, but I'm curious to know how damage like that can be done through simple accident.

I have just returned from a 2,400 mile trip round France in my V8V, and it was a blast! Highlight was 5 hours south to north up the Route Napoleon, hardly ever higher than 4th gear. Then into top, and a totally relaxed cruise to the overnight hotel. Bliss! Anyway, to the point - just after relaxing to cruise mode, I encountered a suicidal deer , which is going to cost me a new o/s wing and driver's door reskin (if Aston do such a thing!). Based on the damage to my car, I believe the photo is real. The quality of the composite is top, but it does tear on impact rather than dent. Replacement should be simple though, and hopefully a colour match should not be a problem on a 3 month old car - that's irrelevant, just wanted to see what it looked like!

Torn composite panel on my V8:

This small tear was repaired without having to replace the panel. Looks as good as new now.

Looks as if it was made hit whilst parked? Maybe side swiped by a car/van travelling from behind it hence the wind ripping forward?

But look at the pivot point on (as we look at it) the front right of the centre air intake. That's the point where the tear 'hinged' and surely there must be SOME sort of damage there - even if it's just cracked paint through the movement, but there is none!?

If it is real then fair enough, but something just doesn't seem right?!
