I spotted one in the same colour in Brighton some time last year (posted a 'spotted' on PH). Bloody lovely in an odd kind of way

..I think they're beautiful cars. Yes they are a little odd looking, but I do think they are slightly understated - very much different to he DB9's and V8 Vantages. They look a little more lithe and alive.

a couple of PH members have got them IIRC. My old boss bought number 44 in Tungsten as well. The names of said members evade me though sorry.

Did it have the numberplate 11 VEV? Thats owned by a PHer. I know of a couple others but I think they are both silver. Very nice cars.

Passed a Zagato on the A1 around Sheffield late on Thursday. Reg something like DB7 ZZ.

The only time I'd seen one before that was under a white cover at the dealership in Edinburgh so this was the first time I'd actually seen one in the flesh.

Agreed its a lovely car, but maybe controversially I reckon the DB7 was nicer.

I think that may have been me! Me and the owner (another PHer) had gone down to the Aston factory on Thursday and were coming back to Newcastle on Thursday. Its a Merc colour - silver with a slight hint of brown/gold, and the reg is DBZ**. Have to say the car certianly draws a lot of attention, I lost count of the number of people who passed us/we passed who were glued to their windows!

Definitely sounds like the one I saw - in which case I was one of those motorists paying attention to road ahead by looking out the passenger window

DBZ 60 is in London on chassis number 60.
It is possible that DBZ 22 is chassis number 22, I guess!

Stratton Motor Company in Norfolk have an example for sale circa 140 thousand gbp.

Looks a very special vehicle in my opinion.

I think these are lovely things and are one of the few modern cars that look truly special. I see one parked regularly outside Cecconi`s in Mayfair - obvioulsy picking up his coffee...

Found this shout video of a DB7 Zagato tonight, anyone on here?
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?d

Gotta love the guys comment - "makes a lot of noise but its not much good in a traffic jam, is it?"...erm why not? I'd prefer to be stuck in traffic in the comfort of an Aston instead of whatever this guy drives hehe He got the name wrong as well

Not to mention the bird crap on his windscreen.
The Zags have the most fantastic soft leather on the seats.

Wasn't a convertible, as the car you are talking about has no roof at all. It is a DBAR1 (AR- American Roadster)
