Followed it in traffic for a few miles and it was easily keeping up and passing most of the traffic on the M1 but eventually we got alongside and it was a stunner.
It looked like an Estate or maybe shooting brake around the same vintage as a DB4/5 going by the number plates. The car definitely had Aston badges and you could see the genes of other Aston models in the design. I have no idea whether it was a one-off, a badge swap or a genuine limited edition old Aston.
Any ideas anyone, I'd be intrigued to know what it is!

If it was a DB5 Estate, then thats very rare. Only a handfull were made for David Brown to take the dogs for a walk. Dont think they made a DB4 version. Could be a DB6.....who knows

What colour was it?

Wasn't there a very special DB5 Shooting Brake made in BRG (or similar) for a young Prince Charles?

Could have been that one off, wish I'd taken a photo but I was driving at the time! It didn't look like a DB5 front end with an estate body moulded on but it could have been. How much did the DB5/6 estate actually resemble the coupe version??

For a DB5 see www.astonmartins.com/db4_5_6_s/db5_radford.htm
and for the DB6 see www.pestalozzi.net/sb/am_db6/index.html

Thanks for that hex, the car I saw is the blue one in the first link. In fact the one I saw could have been that very one!
