Sorry more AMV8 rubbish but i picked mine up yesterday and all i can say is that it doesn't need a stereo() it sounds amazing. I really cant tell how much i enjoyed driving it. The only thing is i can still feel a knocking in the steering column even though it was addressed in the PDI. Aston have said they will have another look when it comes in for its service or earlier if it starts to drive me mad.

As for the 997 i would say already this feels like your driving more of a special car but haven't had a good chance to really see how it handles.

But I'm pleased at the moment.

I was in the Tesco car park earlier today, waiting for the mrs, and the *everyone* who walked past did a double take. In central London, I've had six people so far take pictures of it whilst I was driving...!

If you want it to sound amazing all the time, take out fuse number 22 from the fuse box in the boot (it's fiddly to get at). It does get a bit tiresome being so loud all the time, so I do wish they'd put in a switch for the exhaust mechanism...

Dont know how to post pics as only have them on my hard drive but ill try. I had a couple of guys say what a nice car it was. Im amazed the kind of nice responce iv had from people. If you put fuse 22 back in does it just got back to normal?
