I'm pretty sure I have seen that one around too - last week parked on Berkley St W1 was the last time.

Awesome looking car, and great it gets used (even if it is to go to halfords )

Hi there,

I am a huge fan of the Zagato, it is a great looking car.
I have to say my favourite of the ones I have seen is the one shown below.
Currently for sale for £155,000 at www.astonadvantage.co.uk.

They also have a DB AR1 for sale.

Regards

Tim

IIRC the Aston dealership in Paris has a pair of a hard top and an AR1, with matching production numbers and spec

It looks a million times better in the flesh than in pictures

Completely agree - I have one, in dark green. It looks amazing in the flesh and especially from behind (then again I would say that!). I don't know how to post photos on here otherwise i'd show you!

And so it should, as thats the only angle most people will see

Is that your only Aston or have you got others? Lovely colour btw (from the pic on your profile)!

Am I the only person who does't really like Zagato's efforts.

The DB7 was one of the best looking cars ever. Zagato have uglified it.

Remember that awful Zagato that Rowan Atkinson used to have.

Some of Zagato's designs on Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, Bristol etc are the same.

Someone, please agree with me.

Normally on the front grill, although I think some owners have stick on plates going across the front edge of the bonnet. I've also seen one with the plate stuck below the bottom of the grill, but TBH it looked pretty crap IMO.

It wasn't really designed with number plates in mind though

It was me in Halford's car park, but not me in W1; must be a different car (DBZ 77 possibly).

I try and use each of my cars as much as possible, even if it means for a shopping trip, so long as I'm reasonably confident they won't come to any harm. It does them no good at all just sitting still in the garage doing nothing, they're designed to move! My cars and my driving's what I love, and I get real pleasure sharing what I love with the rest of the world!

p.s. I managed to get away with no front number plate for the first six months of ownership, looked so much better. Got my wrists slapped though and had to fit one! Managed seven years without one on my 7!
