hello all,

posting this on behalf of an uncle who is picking up a DB7 tomorrow.
the car is a silver '97 6 cyl auto first registered by one Ryan Giggs!
the car is in mint condition it has full documentation and some choice upgrades including firmer suspension settings, a beautifully loud sports exhaust system and a set of private plates.
just wanted to know if this car will be a good investment, the last owner spent a lot of money on it and is only replacing because he's got a V8 Vantage arriving imminently.
are early DB7's particularly troublesome? is there anything in particular to look out for?
i'm sure this has been covered on here before but any feedback will be greatly appreciated!
cheers!

Servicing can be £1000+ and should be done yearly. Parts are very expensive such as the headlamps(£800 each side), The 3.2 engine is excellent and trouble free, so there should be no real worries about that. If something goes wrong with the aircon, the dash has to be removed and this can cost £3000. Great car for the money (a 96 plate should really be no more than 35k) It has been said the DB7 will keep on depreciating quite a bit and in a few years be worth around £18-25k.
