Hi

Anyone know if either car has a passenger airbag deactivation switch or ISOFIX child seat anchoring points?

Also anyone had any experiences of using child seats in the rear of the DB9?

Many thanks

Yes, V8's passenger seat has air bag deactivation and anchor points in the seat.

Forget it... nothing fits or even comes close. Rear seats are only really any use for a short 6 year old with no legs.
Baggage space only really.
You definitely can't get anyone in the back over the age of about 8. Unless you don't mind driving with the stearing wheel behind your ears

Thanks - good news on the V8.

The rear seats of the DB9 would only be for young children (<6 yrs) so I wondered if anyone had experience of car seats which fit?

You still can't beat the Towns-styled V8/ V8 vantage for rear space- there really is space for adults in the back. I know- I've been in the back of one for a few hours with no complaints

Don't know about the DB9 but I have 2 year old twins who fit just fine in Britax Freeway child seats in the back seats of my DB7 Vantage. I suspect that the DB7 Vantage rear seats would be even smaller than the DB9, since the DB7 interior is generally more cramped (but just fine for me, and I'm 6 foot). The Britax Freeway is one of very few child seats with a base narrow enough to fit in the DB7's rear seats.

Thanks - its a good seat. I used it in my Maserati 3200GT a few years back.

Thanks, Shadytree. Did the DB9 you had have front passenger seat airbag deact and/or ISOFIX?

Too be honest I can't really remember, I don't think it did, but on the newer ones I guess they might as they are pretty much identicle in the front seats.
