Anybody out there know whether V8 Vantage servicing/maintenance costs are likely to be around those of a 911 as mooted in some press articles, or nearer those of the DB9/Vanquish?

Any informed comments will be appreciated as I am deliberating whether to follow my heart and go for the Vantage or follow my head and continue progressing up the automotive ladder with something less exotic!!

Depends on labour and how long any job takes. A normal 10,000 mile service on my DB9 was about £500. New brake pads, oil change etc.

That's not bad at all, I'm quite surprised, thought it would have been more.
How many miles did you rack up in your DB9 and were there any other unforseen costs?

The bigger services should be less than DB9 and Vanquish, because to do the spark plugs there is no need to remove the inlet manifold. On V12's you have to remove them, which takes a bit of time. The brakes are the same as the DB9 so no difference there. I would say the 911 service would be similar, depending on labour rates.
