All New AMV8 Owners

There seems to be a lot of 'reports' of faulty or problematic AMV8's out there and I was wondering if we could take some kind of a roll call to see how many owners there are actually on these boards and what problems they have had. If there are definite issues taht are raised surely then those of us expecting delivery soon could demand that the problems are rectified prior to delivery. Or is life not that simple. I have put an identical post on the AMOC forum to catch anyone that doesn't overlap.

actually I did notice the red-line light came on a little early in sixth at 7000 revs

I can report that mine seems to be causing untold damage to knicker elastic even from several hundred metres away
