For your info all wood facias,(except possibly Piano Black), and the Platinum Silver Interior Fittings upgrade are now no longer allowed to be specified as options for the Vantage. Customers who have had their specs submitted to Gaydon already should be ok with what they have ordered but if you have speced with dealer and dealer not submitted then you will find that these options are not possible.

Apparently Aston feel that these options make car too "DB9 ish".

Nice touch for those that have already got their orders in though. Nice rarity value

Maybe good or maybe not good for residuals if not exactly like how one could spec a new one.

IMO, I would love it

I would be well chuffed to have an interior that the majority haven't.

yeah your probably right - to have a DB9 total look interior in a Vantage has gotta be good.

It sounds like I was lucky to get my order in early!

Well obviously LA!!
They mean they don't want people having the extra luxuries of the DB9 cabin ie wood & platinum silver.

absolutely right they are I'm sure - me for one. well with a 997 inbetween.
It's a bit like you not being able to get piped seats on a range rover sport but you can on a range rover.

I think the disappearance of these options has more to do with factory difficulty in ramping up production volume so dramatically. I bet that these options will reappear for the V8 once the Gaydon team gets up to speed.
