p0430 error catalysts 200 cells
Discussion
I was waiting for this message after the 200 cells catalysts.
The efficiency of the Bank 2 catalyst system is below the threshold
I know remapping will take this away from this problem but I wonder if it's worth spending a lot of money to buy remapping from Dae or Velocity
It is a scholar to remove the engine warning light signal every time.
In reality, if this warning light does not ruin the engine, I would avoid touching the original control unit.
From the previous discussions I understand it can be ignored
I'm wrong
P. S. Possible solution?...
An O2 sensor spacer (or defouler/extender) for a P0430 code (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2) is a small metal adapter that moves the downstream O2 sensor out of the direct exhaust flow, tricking the car's computer into thinking the catalytic converter is working by reducing the exhaust gas it reads, thus turning off the Check Engine Light (CEL). While it's a common, temporary "Band-Aid" fix for emissions or inspection issues, it doesn't fix the underlying problem (usually a failing cat or exhaust leak) and isn't street legal in some places, as the real fix often involves replacing the catalytic converter or addressing the exhaust leak.
Thank you
