I can lock the car with the fob and without fail after a few minutes the alarm goes off. If I open the driver door turn the ignition on and off then shut the door and lock it, it is then fine.

Anyone else had similar issues? Is it door sensors or issues with the alarm module in the left wheel well?

Cheers

Hi Mike, you can switch off the interior sensors when you lock the car, there is a button to press inside.

Maybe the interior sensors could be defective or just dirty.

Possibly the bonnet latch, it was the cause on my N420.

Or boot latch, as was the case on my 2006 DB9.

Quick update. It seems when I press the button for internal sensors off the alarm doesn't go off. So it must be an internal sensor issue

Really stupid question, but I feel compelled to ask. You're not locking it with a window open for ventilation, are you?

No as I'm a bit OCD about checking things like that. It does keep randomly popping up and alarm system service required though which I can only think it's the siren batt???
