New Vantage/DB12 downshifting - need someone to check theirs

Typically when one gives a long squeeze on the downshift paddle, the transmission should shift to the lowest available gear on the new cars (or so I thought).
Recently I had a new software update and the gearbox now shifts say from 6th to 3rd then 2nd. It appears to perform an extra shift instead of simply jumping straight into 2nd if shifted from a much higher gear. I can't remember if this was the case or not before the update....
I would be grateful if anyone can please check if their car exhibits the same behaviour when a long squeeze on the downshift paddle is used?
It does this even in Track mode and when gear oil temp is warmed up.
