Predictably.... whilst removing my lower control arms for new power flex bushes, both bolts have snapped.

Has anyone sourced an alternative part without aston tax?

To be honest, I wouldn't risk it. Not sure which actual bolts you are referring too (Car ? Front or rear control arms, front or rear bolts of that control arm)

I had to cut my front right rear control arm bolt as it was seized (common problem apparently) and as its an eccentric bolt for wheel alignment, for me it wasn't worth trying to find a similar bolt.

I tried that on the bushes (Apparently ford transit....) and ended up just taking the hit on the new polyflex bushes for those front control arm rear bushes (vertical bolts).

If you provide some additional info, then someone might know an alternative (Maybe Jag/ford etc ?)

How do you know.....

Is it the m12 or m14 bolts, front or rear?

. I ordered everything yesterday for the front control arms, £140 for 4 bolt and 4 nuts. The m14 was ok at 14 ish a bolt but the m12 was 35 plus vat, each.

Edit: just found the MX5 is m14 front and rear, so could have saved a little but it's the M12 thats the killer.
