You may be interested in the following numberplate due to come up at the next DVLA auction (end of Oct).

Lot 89

They have a price of £500 on it, but I suspect it shall fetch a tad more.

Surely it will go for thousands, not hundreds.

That's a reserve price on the DVLA auction site, not including buyers premium, VAT and the £80 transfer fee which will need to be added on top.

I was lucky enough recently to pick up a rather good (in my humble view!) Aston-related plate for my Zagato - '11 VEV'. And I suspect it will have cost me rather less than that one....!
