Finally I have My DB9
Discussion
After a lot of looking, finally found the Aston Martin for me, I am now the proud owner of a 2005 DB9! Snow Shadow Grey/Obsidian Black, Nav, Htd Seats, Cruise Control, Reversing Sensors, Red Calipers, Power fold Mirrors, 1 owner, 31k miles, great service history. Only thing I didn't get was optional wheels, but hoping I can source some at some point. Happy Days here!

Congratulations. But, as you must know, pictures or it didn't happenSorry, but have been in posting jail for 3 days?!?!
Anyway, not having any luck posting pics. I'm a bit tech challenged as I'm 70, but went to Tiny Bits, with no luck at all. Maybe an easier way?
I will say finding an Aston Martin in US is much more difficult than in UK, especially in the northern part of US.
Hardly any choices for DB9s other than 2005/6, the few you find are $30k more, just not worth it to me, maybe because I come from a restoration background.

There may be a period after joining when you can't post photos as an anti-bot measure, not sure.Anyway, not having any luck posting pics. I'm a bit tech challenged as I'm 70, but went to Tiny Bits, with no luck at all. Maybe an easier way?

They made a lot of DB9s in the early years hence the higher numbers.
When you go to post, look for the link 'Upload an Image' and follow the instructions.
Enjoy your new car

There is, and I'll step you through it. I'm assuming you're using a PC, like I do. The process is similar for a phone or tabletAnyway, not having any luck posting pics. I'm a bit tech challenged as I'm 70, but went to Tiny Bits, with no luck at all. Maybe an easier way?
- Start a thread or reply in the normal manner. In the dialog box there is an option to "Upload an image". Click on this
- This will open a picture upload dialog box. Click on "Browse" - this should open a file list for your device
- Navigate to the place where you keep the pictures you want, and select the image you want to upload. Then click on the "Open" button at the bottom right
- This will take you back to the "Upload" dialog box where nothing will appear to have happened, except the text will indicate that an image has been selected. Click on "Upload"
- The dialog box will indicate that the file has been uploaded and, depending on where things are on your screen, you may be able to see that a URL has appeared in your "greyed-out" post in the background
- Click on "Close"
- You'll now be back in the "post drafting" box and you'll see the URL of your uploaded image. PH tends to put it hard up against the end of your text.
- If you want another image then rinse and repeat the whole process. The next image will be hard up against the bottom of the last
- Before you post I'd recommend you use the "preview" button as it's easy to screw up the placement or image selection.
- When you get a bit more proficient you can add spaces above and below your pictures, or between pictures and text, to improve the appearance and readability of your post. You can also move the URL for the pictures around, or delete a URL completely if you decide against a particular image - but let's not try to run before we walk, eh?
- Again, I'd check everything is as you would like by using "Preview" - you can do that as many times as you like and the preview will update each time you click the button
- When you're happy, click on "Submit".
- You can always edit or delete your post once it's uploaded, but that's a whole different topic

after all that - typo fixed

Blimey, that looks so complicated when you put it like that!
Simple actions often appear that way when you try to describe them accurately. Imagine you're writing instructions for a Martian explaining how to make and serve a cup of tea with a couple of biscuits in the saucer and see what you end up with.

I think LTP just called me a Martian, LOLImagine you're writing instructions for a Martian explaining how to make and serve a cup of tea with a couple of biscuits in the saucer and see what you end up with.
LTP, to be fair I retired when I was 43, so just at the beginning of tech and cell phones, so I was busy doing nothing while everybody else figured out Tech. So those of us with minimal work exposure and minimal need for it years ago all fell behind and don't want to be bothered with catching up. Thus we have cable instead of streaming, flip phones instead of smart phones, we listen to the radio in the car, wash dishes by hand, and buy low tech cars are are not bothered. And by the way, I may be from another country, but it's not mars!!
