Aston GT8 Options
Discussion
I have a GT8 from new and at the min, I think it is a great purchase as only 150 made. I would go for manual and try and find a car which is not the Aston green.
I think the base price was around £165k plus extras at the time like centre locks wheels and so on, also I would go for the seats which you are able to fully adjust as well as this makes for a better driving position but not many have this option I don't think.
I love mine not the faster car I own but I love it.

How is the gt8 with speed bumps and slight inclines to entrances etc?
Is the seven speed manual gearbox in v12s the same twin clutch gearbox as sport shift he’s fix but with a manual lever? Porsche seven speed manual is same gearbox as PDK but with a manual attachment. I think a six speed box could be better but I haven’t compared both yet.

Given current values not a bad time perhaps to be looking.
As Jason has said only 150 made of which UK accounts for circa 80.
Manual of these are about 60 ish.
List was indeed £165k for the manual and the average spend on options was probably around £40 - £45k at least but being Aston it was fairly easy to go even sillier.
Mine has the only back and forwards seat adjustment as that’s what I wanted having had the same in my GT3 and they are superbly comfortable so no regrets.
Titanium exhaust was often specced but appears to sound relatively similar to the ss.
Both sound amazing.
I specced it with Ti as heard it at the original launch and was sold.
With the removable front extended splitters you do have to be careful exiting some petrol stations and the like but more about approach angle of the car.
Same with speed bumps but some can be very painful to the ears.
Pure theatre driving experience.

The intercooler.com has just published an article on the 8/12 which is worth a read to perhaps whet your appetite some more.
Think 3 on AT as we speak .
Prices range widely with anything less than 1000 miles carrying a premium although the most expensive one does seem relatively “ high “.
The one at Reading seems a good compromise BUT you’d have to like the colour.

Hi, yes I have a full factory price list. As I almost bought one at the time before deciding to go with a V12VSM instead.
Drop me a PM and I will email it over to you.
Cheers
Adam
