New To Me 2019 Vantage
Discussion
After a short negotiation and trade in of my 2009 V8 Vantage, my wife and I drove the 140 miles to AM Nottingham to collect my latest AM acquisition.
A 10,000 mile Hyper Red Vantage.
Totally over the moon, loved the drive back and aside from trying to get used to the dash and drive, managed to return a respectable 31.7 mpg ... On the way up with my outgoing car, only managed 21 mpg.
Anyway, enough about boring stuff ... The car which is in pristine condition.

Full frontal PPF and also newly applied PPF to both rear quarters upto the swage line. Pure black interior leather, red stitching and seat belts. Heated and cooled seats, premium audio amongst other things.
Still getting used to the difference in performance but loving it.

Thank you guys, much appreciated.
David, we should have gone to Denbies today, it being the first Sunday of the month.
Next month perhaps.
We should have as it sounded like a decent overall turnout in the end. Next month it is - I’ll get to see your motor too!David, we should have gone to Denbies today, it being the first Sunday of the month.

Nice looking car, and +2 on both the paint and the wheels colours. The 2C Vantage seems to suit brighter colours well and the "Hunter" grille has grown on me
If I were in a position to replace my VH Vantage I'd be tempted, but I'd be concerned that the car has become more "hard edged" and has lost the "GT"-ness. I would imaging the newer 2C car would better fit my lanky 6' 3" frame

Thanks ... I'm also 6'3", I used to be lanky as a teenager, then became built and now reside more on the portly side If I were in a position to replace my VH Vantage I'd be tempted, but I'd be concerned that the car has become more "hard edged" and has lost the "GT"-ness. I own both models. The 2C Vantage does the job of grand tourer much better. Much more comfortable and happy to amble along with a lovely supple ride. That’s not saying that it is not a sports car, as it is that too when the mood takes you and is very fast, handles amazingly and puts a smile on your face. The VH is the better driver’s car. The 2C Vantage is the better car.
Oh, forgot. Congrats Bigga!

That's good to hear. Usually with every development of a car the suspension gets harder and harder, and then some buyers add a Sportspack to remove the last vestige of ride quality and boost road noise.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
