Looks good in white too, but possibly not much rearward visibility!

He has Valour in green. This new white car is Valiant. They do look rather similar though. BRM.

Nice to see Ramsay's Valiant has real wheels, rather than those odd flat sided carbon ones from the orange reveal car.

What a cool looking car, though!

Ah thanks, I missed that distinction.

Aston Martin needs a plan for when they've used up all words beginning with 'V'. The fact they only tend to make five cars before changing it to another word beginning with 'V' doesn't help...!

For some time now, Aston Martin have had a secret department, whose sole purpose is to select words for it's award winning, out of this world, marketing campaigns.
This department could very easily be tasked with the creation of up to seven letter words beginning with V.
The Aston Martin Vulgar did not make production.

But, with the recent stratospheric power outputs, perhaps the names of popular medications might be.

It might also produce an uptick in the number of “non-black non-grey” cars

By zooming in to the second photo, I think I can see a name being prepared to be short listed. Obviously the first letter V, as been crafting hidden from the camera.

ASTON MARTIN VEJLUH

Marketing Department's AI machine, will be working on an explanation.
It turns out to be derived from a very ancient Saxon word, Vulhej.
Meaning, that you will now find my extremely powerful Vul, in a hej.

The letters of the word needed to be re-ordered, so that customers can never have any thoughts about losing control.

They may look similar but you'll need to find an extra million dollars (at least) to get the exclusive VALiant rather than the "common" VALour!

They should be hoofing it round Le Mans, not just selling half a dozen to multi-millionaires which will never be seen.

( You probably know the following, but it might be of interest to some PHers. )

If you refer to Aston Martin racing again at Le Mans, then my understanding is that we hope to see two Valkyries competing for an overall win at this years Le Mans 24 hours race.

I think the cars are being run by an Aston Martin customer team and possibly the very successful Prodrive might be involved.
Many miles of testing have already taken place.

Le Mans and WEC operate a 'Balance of Performance' system, with the aim of equalising all cars performance within each class.
A a conseqence, perhaps ironically, the racing Valkyries are less powerful than the standard road going cars.

( I doubt this will be the final colour scheme. )

Well that's no fun at all; what's the incentive to develop?

It has been the same basis for a long time and can on occasions, produce amazingly close results.
Do you remember the dicing on the final few laps, following 24 hours of flat out racing, between one of the Aston Martin Vantage GTEs and a Chevrolet? In case you do not remember, I won't say which car won, but enjoy watching this. Hold on to your seat.

( Suggest using the settings symbol, to increase the picture quality to 720. )

Sure but why invest millions to get another 100bhp if they then make you carry a boot-full of bricks to cancel it out?

A lot depends on the integrity of the stitching in the seams, and the quality of the sand.used
