Headlights and their look
Discussion
After many years, one day I suddenly looked at the headlights and asked myself how could they have had this design flaw? That opening of more than half a centimeter had to be much smaller. If you go to the edge of the plastic of the nozzle, you can see what is behind the headlight washer. I wonder! Can't the headlight be placed closer to the bumper? So that the empty space between the headlight washer nozzles and the bumper is not so noticeable.
Have any of you noticed this, or do you assume that it is normal?
P.S. The photo is not of my car, but it is the same.

Thats pretty normal on VH era cars with headlight washers. Some early models had non HID lights, no washers and just the plastic cover, which seemed to fit a little better as it was held in place by a spring, not by the washer arm.
The headlight washer is really a weak point in the headlight design, many of us have lost the covers, and/or had washer nozzles jam and break off needing a complete new light unit to fix, and thats before the near standard condensation issues .
