TPMS on 2nd set winter wheels (DB11 era Astons)
Discussion
Looking to get a 2nd set of wheels with winter tyres and will add TPMS valves aat the same time. I have read about how the sensors automatically pair with the system after driving for a while but are the sensors specific to a particular wheel/corner? Or does the car just magically figure it out.
I guess I'm asking is there a rear left sensor that I need to ensure goes on the rear left wheel etc...?

Yes, the system will show each corner of the car and its tire pressure. When you change pressures as in changing to a different set of tires, the system will read (if correct sensors) and report those new pressures. It will also ask if you want to reset the system using the new pressures, you simply press the thumb wheel to select.
You can also navigate to it using the home button - service - tire pressures - and that menu is self explanatory.

How does it know which signal is coming which corner of the car? I get that it will pick up 4 signals, each with a pressure reading but am cautious about whether each of the 4 sensors must be fitted to a particular corner or whether the car can somehow make sense of it all regardless.
