Hi guys considering changing into db12 had mine since new and believed it was a keeper do you think I would regret it🙈

I’d imagine on every perceivable metric the DB12 would demolish the Vanquish …but it’s a blown V8 against a a thunderous n/a V12 …guess it depends what you will use the car for. I’ve had similar decisions myself recently in that I was comparing a Vanquish S against a DBS SL and despite the incredible noise from the former I went for the latter. They’re all awesome cars …Enjoy the journey!

Yes.

The thing with the VSV is that it’s pretty timeless, with proper dials and that wonderful n/a v12. Sure, the nav screen is crap and tiny, but you can fold that away. Doesn’t matter what else you drive, the Vanquish is going to be pretty timeless.

Compare that with something more up to date and as soon as the technology moves on in the other cars you drive the DB12 will feel dated. Have exactly the same issue with my Range Rover. Felt modern and up to date when I bought it. MrsLT has since bought two new cars and each has made the RR feel more and more dated, and not in a good way. The Vanquish manages, for me anyway, to avoid those comparisons simply because it is lacking too much digitalisation.

Factor in the very limited production numbers and I reckon the VSV is probably a better bet from a financial standpoint too.

Both are stunning cars. Test drive a DB12 and see if you can cope with all the binging and bonging as you drive smile

I was at AM Bristol a couple of weeks ago and their DB12 Volante demonstrator in Titanium Silver was one of the nicest cars I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning.

Then I worked out a new one would be the thick end of £150k plus my Vantage V12S which I’ve owned for ten years. Just makes no financial sense. I could keep my V12 and buy a lightly used DBX 707 or a new Range Rover and still have change out of the ££ instead.
