I went over mine with G3 spray for a car show last Sunday and people commented on how shiny it looked. But there's a downside - this morning I found the car cover blown into a neighbour's garden, and I can't get it back on again!

Did you say, "Can I have my ball car cover back, please Mister"?

I went armed with a pack of frozen sausages so he quickly backed off.

Was this caused by the G3 spray, or the wind?

A combination of both! It proved quite impossible to get more than 1/3 of it on before the wind blew it off again, and that's in a fairly sheltered corner.

Half an hour ago the wind abated somewhat, I got the cover on and then made up a thin rope with a clip at each end to fasten underneath in the middle.

Anyone else had shiny wind problems?
