The LED strip on one of my 2008 Vantage headlight has been dimming slowly until it finally gave up the ghost. I was budgeting a grand or so for a replacement 2nd hand headlight. I however thought I may give a contact cleaner spray a shot. I did and guess what? The right headlight indicator strip is working again


I have no idea what the problem is/was but I live in a very hoy and dry country. I think corrosion in not really in issue here unless Aston Martin uses really terrible circuit boards.

I just opened the inspection flap from the wheel liner without even removing the wheel.

Any contact cleaner will do spray thoroughly and leave to dry.

Well done - that simple tip could save someone a not insignificant amount of time and money. I would never have thought to try that. Brilliant!

Well thats good to know…dry as hell round here most of the time…if mine plays up..I know where to start looking…cheers
