2019 Vantage Dyno
Discussion
Interesting.
My guess for the reason being, the electronics know the front wheels are not rotating, hence won't allow a change into 2nd gear.
Surely the dynamometer operator must now encounter this frequently with modern cars. Do they know what to do?
So many unexpected features have been incorporated into cars now.
My wife was awoken in the early hours, by a notification on her phone.
'Rainfall detected - a window is open. Use your App to close the window'.
Top tip - when setting up car control apps, do it on your wife's phone.
You won't then get notifications, every time the car is unlocked.

I’m not too sure. It was in track mode and the display said traction control off. I don’t know any other way of doing it?
You press it once (for about 4 seconds) to turn it “half off” - best setting for on-track unless you’re a driving god with a healthy bank balance, then press it again for about 4 seconds to turn it off completely. I have tried the latter setting, but it makes the car way too much of a handful for my skill level. It might help with your current issue however. Maybe send these guys an email. I’m sure they would know.

Also, this is interesting:
Rated by Aston Martin (avg.): 503 HP @ 5,500-6,250rpm; 505 LB-FT @ 1,750-4,500rpm
Dyno measured by RENNtech (peak): 530 HP @ 5,450rpm; 556 LB-FT @ 3,050rpm
That is a lot of torque.
