Just thought I'd ask how many (if any) posters in this sub-forum are planning to go to the Annual Service at Bicester Heritage next weekend?

I've bought tickets. I've never been to one before so I thought I'd just rock up about 10-ish and have a mooch around. I didn't register to display my car and I see that closed in May anyway.

The thread in General Gassing doesn't have many posts and seems equally split between enthusiastic anticipation and trying to get the ticket page to work (sounds like systems normal with cars, really). The cunning title of this thread should keep it here and (hopefully) stop it been relegated to the foetid depths of GG

I was very keen to go to this but the one last year and this clashed with our family holiday. Hope you have fun!

I bought the tickets some time ago, suggested my car for display (it wasn’t accepted, fair enough). But am now not sure as I have so many things lined up in August, including Beaulieu, which moved from earlier this year.

Been to Bicester several times. Atmospheric place. Never been to PH event before and not sure if it’s more boy racer?

Agreed on both counts. I guess the only way to find out about the "boy racer" possibility is to go along and find out.
Now where do I tweak the blow-off pressure on the waste gate of my Vantage? biggrin
