Are there any tips for cleaning the inside of the new Vantage roadster rear window? The permanent wind blocker creates tiny left and right spaces such that your hand or tool cannot reach across the span of the glass when the top is up. Further complicating the issue is the fact
that you are not to stop the lowering of the top while it is in progress so there is no cleaning time then.

Other then having a 6 year old’s pair of hands is there some solution?

Well, the good news is that the wind deflector can be taken out. Open the convertible top, take the wind deflector out, close the top and bingo, you get easy, sort of, access to clean the inside of the rear glass.

That made me chuckle. I’m guessing tool isn’t used as a slang word in the US the same way as Aus/UK.

Well I tried removing the wind blocker on my new Vantage roadster but it doesn’t budge. Maybe removal was possible prior to my18 but not now?

You could stop the roof movement half way up on the old one, when the back bit lifts up. This would give you access to clean the glass when it’s vertical.
