What Aston Martin did I see?
Discussion
Out for a drive in my Porsche today feeling rather smug when I saw an object of true envy. It was on the Eynsham A40 roundabout (near the Kingsley Car Cafe) and an Aston Martin of some description came past. It looked like a GT3 or GT4 car with a wing on the back but was obviously road legal. It sounded utterly fantastic like an actual race car (rather than the usual "sports exhaust" look at me sound).
I've just been on the Aston website and cannot find anything similar. As such, it may have been a few years old. It looked pretty small.
I've never really been interested in AMs but having seen/heard that, I now really want one!

No it was more like a GT4 car with the more recognisable Aston coupe shape
Might have been one of these albeit with a wing on the back

GT8?
Would be my guess. LennyM1984 said:
Having just Googled it and listened to it on YouTube, I think you may be right. It was yellow and sounded utterly fabulous (I have done a few races against various GTs - Ferraris, Lamborghinis etc - and this sounded better then any of the true race cars)
Most of the UK cars have titanium exhausts with no middle cats from the factory. DB levels can be an issue for some track days.
They aren’t the fastest cars out there but they are pure theatre !
