DB9 wheel spacers - any recommendations?
Discussion
I have been thinking about fitting wheel spacers to my 05my DB9, possibly up to 10mm on the front and 30mm (20mm would be favourite) on the rear, which is on standard wheels (i.e. not sport pack). A few questions:
- Has anyone any experience of doing this recently?
- Would 20mm hubcentric rear spacers require the wheel studs to be shortened, (something I really want to
avoid) or would 30mm spacers remove the need to shorten studs?
- How can slip-on spacers be fitted to ensure that no stud length is lost? Is that even possible?
Any useful links or recommendations would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I fitted 11mm H&R spacers to both front and back on my 2013 DB9. Was originally looking for 20mm on the back but the 11 is fine. No extra work required as they come with new nuts that have extra thread in them. The original nuts thread doesn’t start till about 10mm inside. Hope that makes sense. I actually ordered mine from the USA as was still much cheaper than UK.

Not a fan of wheel spacers personally.
I'd rather go down the route of custom wheels with a different offset to achieve the same result as spacers but to a higher standard without the need to alter the studs or hub in any way.
...having said that, it's your car, the above is only my opinion and it is obviously a lot more expensive than spacers.

I agree, altering the studs or hub is not something I'd want. My wheels are in perfect nick, not a mark on them and I would like to keep them, even if I changed them as per your idea, but I don't have the space, so fitting spacers seems like a reasonable way of widening the stance a little.I'd rather go down the route of custom wheels with a different offset to achieve the same result as spacers but to a higher standard without the need to alter the studs or hub in any way.
