Hi all,
One year in!!! The car had 18k miles when i got her and she’s now on 25500. I have done 3 x euro tours. Onw was touring to the South of France and back up. Then i went from Amsterdam to Wroclaw/ Prague/ Salzburg and up into Nijmegen. Finally from Rotterdam to Interlaken/ lake como and then Chamonix. All were fantastic trips through various weather giving the car a real test. Not one issue in all those miles, zero warnings whatsoever. The car is fantastic, sounds amazing and is a superb GT car. Very comfortable albeit i put a bigger tyre on her to give more sidewall and made a massive difference to the ride. She gets huge amounts of attention wherever you go, everyone wants to talk to you. So all in a fantastic machine however there are for ne some bad thingys!! Squeaky brakes, mine don’t squeak after a good power wash for about 3 days but then returns, pads due soon so may look at alternatives. Condensation in rear lights, i had a go repairing and so far seems to be good. The biggest issue is i just noticed i have paint blisters, some on the roof near both windows, fuel cap, door lock and corner of drivers door. Will be getting it sorted at some point this year but poor from AM here. Sat Nav from 1985 but i updated my map and it never let me down to be fair. Non sport mode for me is rubbish so i drive in sport and just use the paddles when i need to go up a gear on motorways etc. Perhaps another 100bhp would be nice but im used to more powerful cars and this is being picky. Thats about it, more trips planned for next year and many more happy miles!!
Cheers

Good on you and nice to see these great cars being used.
Not done so many Mile's either last year or so far this year but that largely been down to poor weather in the UK.
Done 2 euro tours this year but went on a motorbike for the first one and in our daily for the second one as we brought the dog and it has a bigger flatter back seat for him than my Vanq. Might still squeeze a long weekend trip somewhere though so let's see how the summer turns out.

Sounds good!!! Yeah i think the dog would struggle for comfort in there. The roads in Europe are fantastic too, i especially love turning of motorways on the Nav and just driving through all the small villages , UK really is a shambles!!Not done so many Mile's either last year or so far this year but that largely been down to poor weather in the UK.

I agree on paint, I think the control or prep between assembly amd paint is not as good/tight like what you get in bmw/ mercedes but I guess they have more automated assembly line allowing for a better conditions for paint. One year in!!! Hope it will not cost arm and a leg to rectify
Re speed, I wonder whether it's two fold.
The power is there ans the speed is there but the weight of the car tones it down giving that slower feel.
The other thing I found could be that there is bit more insulation and general comfort and lack of forced induction (sorry not sure what car you comparing) that give you that snappy 'boost' feeling. I felt that difference going from forced induction to v12. Although power output is instant and speedo dictates its quic just don't 'feel' as quick as my last car.
Like someone mentioned de cat and tune would give bit more power depending how you feel about that. (If funds allow inwould day get new manifolds made up and keep original cats) So car could be returned to stock
