We were watching Hammond Workshop season 1. And there is a lovely event where he gets to show off his Jaaaaag and do a hill run.

The good lady said she would enjoy doing one in the Aston (this is a rare thing so I need to try and do it lol).
Any recommendations for good event to park up the Aston and wander about, or ideally one with a bit of track of hill run?

Thanks 🙏

Prescott or Shelsey Walsh hill climbs spring to mind.

I’ve done Prescott in my old Alfa. Great fun. Check the websites for events.

Thanks, I had seen the Shelsey one, will give them a detailed look and see if it can work dates wise!

I have been to preston Hill and it's a fantastic day out with family or mates. Everyone is very friendly and loads of interesting motors on display and going up the hill.

Sounds perfect. Have you done the hill climb, or did it at least look fun?

Hi, No me and couple of my friends went to have a look as we booked for a Mini day there, but that got cancelled in the end last year, so we jut went for a day out to have a look.

The track looks quite good, there are loads of vantage points that you can have a look and move around and you get a really good view. The commentators was pretty good and racing was quite frequent as in the stoppage between car class swaps was minimal. I think most interesting corner from memory was the third one, when you stand over it you can see that the cars are shooting up and narrowly avoiding a tire bank at the top as it looked tricky with few near misses.

I would love to take my mini there as it looked very fun, on the day there was a mix of various kit cars, classic Bugatti type 35 races, some classic minis and various other classic weapons!

I would genuanly recommend as it was really good day!
