Caliper colour...
Discussion
Hi all,
I'm part way through a full brake rebuild on my Rapide and wanted to freshen up the calipers, going from Black to Yellow.
I wanted a bright but not neon yellow and went with RAL1026 Luminous yellow, after a couple of coats im undecided. I feel they are a little 'yellow yellow' not signal yellow but not what i would call 'luminous'.
It's not to late to change them, as im yet to decal and lacquer them and im still waiting on new seals from Brembo.
Whats peoples opions?

Thank Josh, those do look great and very similar in colour, i have dark wheels on a white car so wanted the yellow to show the brakes off a little as the black caliper and black disc hats just got lost.
Although you've inadvertently made me want a Vanquish even more...
I think Yellow with black decals will certainly pop on a white car behind the dark wheels, the other thing you could explore is reflective wrap, granted I have not had much experience with it, but have seen few wrappers offering it as an option on brake callipers and looks pretty impressive in the night.Although you've inadvertently made me want a Vanquish even more...
I had neon yellow/greenish Brembo on a black car behind bronze wheels and it certainly was visible. will try to find a photo.
Well it's finally done, after deciding the initial yellow was to much of a 'signal yellow' i went a little more radical but I'm pleased with the results.
It's been a ball ache i wont lie, the paint reacted, so had to be totally striped back to bare metal, calipers off, l pads pins have bent and seized and i found some split seals along the way. Everything has been replaced..... discs, pads, pins, seals, springs etc....
