DB9 chrome trim and rear bumper removal etc.
Discussion
Hello all,
I am treating my 55 plate DB9 to a paint job and I am struggling with getting some of the parts off. I would really appreciate some guidance with the removal of the following items:
Rear bumper - I have removed the arch liners, couple of bolts where it meets the rear quarter and the bolts underneath around the bottom edge, but can’t see what else I need to remove.
Chrome trim - I’ve removed the screws up to where the door glass meets the rear quarter window and the two screws at the front of the quarter window but can’t figure out how to get the rest of the chrome trim and quarter glass out. Is the trim on clips? On the parts catalogue it shows the same screws but I can’t see them.
Fuel filler cap / mechanism - has anyone here ever taken this off?
Door locks - I’ve removed the door handle mechanism. Does the glass need to come out to gain access to the door locks fixings?
Thanks
Damien
