Astontony, Cameron, Rudi & I planned a week in tassie

linking together as many Targa Tasmania roads as we could

Day 1 was a flight to Melbourne and dinner out at a great Italian Restaurant - Lupino in Little Collins Street

that night we stayed at the QT on Russell Street which is a great hotel

only surprise was the shower the next morning - cold water only as the HW failed early morning

a brisk start to the day before visiting some car show rooms then picking up our babies

seems the photos are not uploading but may work if you click on them

On the Spirit of Tasmania for the night time voyage to Tassie tonight

not without some issues

Cameron locked his keys in the front bonnet of the R8 and missed the boat

so three of us only making the crossing

hopefully he'll be on the boat tomorrow after getting into the car

This is awesome! I plan on doing an entire lap of Tassie with the wife, leaving from our home in Adelaide. But doing the Targa Tas sections would be great fun. Looking forward to a trip report

All was going so well and just as we were boarding Cameron had locked his keys in the frunk and no matter how we tried we could not get in. He was resigned to the fact that his first night was not on The Spirit of Tasmania ship with us.

day 2 we arrived in Devonport after the night trip from Melbourne. A pleasant eve with small seas across the Strait.
