So, wanted to change the wiper blades on my 2006 DB9. Tried to press the keys 8+9 and turn ignition to stage II. Wipers didn’t move. So after half an hour trying different things I moved each are across to the upright position manually, changed each blade and put the arms back in position. That was the mistake! Now, when I turn the wipers on, the wiper spindle moves, but the wipers themselves don’t! If you hold the wipers away from the screen, they will move, but not if they are touching the screen. Any ideas anyone?

You have likely loosened the nut on the drive spindle. Tighten it with the wipers in the park position if you can get access. If not IIRC you will have to stop the wiper motor part way by turning off the ignition, and tighten the nut with the blades upright. Could take a few goes to get the right position.

Great. Thanks John. I’ll give that a try once the rain stops!
