DBS Superleggera Brakes
Discussion
Bought myself a 2021 Superleggera, first Aston lovely car no issues with it at all apart from the brakes. The problem I have with them is they are more like a switch than a peddle. I constantly find myself being launched at the window screen unless I am focused on what I'm doing when braking. Does anyone else have the same problem? I noticed Harry Metcalfe mentioned this on one of his videos, is there a fix to help[modulate them that anyone is aware of?

The Carbon Ceramics on these are very powerful, but they do need to have been bedded in properly. If the car is low mileage perhaps they just need some firm use for a while to settle them in?
I know that my CCs on my V12 Vantage S can get a bit grabby after a long period of lay up, but they settle down with use.

You could always try driving barefoot if the lack of odour allows! Jokes aside maybe you need more driver focused footwear; personally I find when driving in a spirited manner or for longer distances the shoes can have a big impact on comfort and 'feel' especially when you sit low in the car.
Having very grabby brakes sounds very disconcerting, I hope you can find a solution. The DBS is such a beautiful car and it's a very tempting proposition.

100% the same. Have just collected mine & done 800 miles in 2 weeks. Very easy to live with … apart from dreadful brake feel. They are either on or off. The DBS lives with a modern 911 & a modern Ferrari so easy to compare. The car has done 11k miles now so assume they are bedded in. I am going to speak to the supplying dealer to see if they can suggest a solution ..

I bedded my brakes when I got my car and that certainly helped. Also sent the squeaking away as well which was nice.
in mph
60 mph, brake hard enough feel it in your face but not ABS hard, down to about 10-15 mph...then back to 60, then 10, 60-10, 60-10, 60-10 and then 80-10 and then drive for 5-10 minutes and don't touch the brakes
worked well for me, YMMV
