Hi folks, my 2010 V8V has the adaptable suspension fitted by BR around 10 yrs ago by prev owner. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the dampers or springs when they begin to age/go? It was initially set up with a new control harness as well. It seems to have been carefully balanced/adjusted up with their fancy geometry set up at the time. Would BR have to replace any of the aforementioned parts, or would any specialist be ok?
Thanks,
David

You can of course go to BR but maybe the dampers also have a part number?

Yes i had planned to ask them directly but it seems to take forever to get a response so thought I'd try my luck here first. I'm sure someone has had similar work done. Im more interested in the set up after the shocks are replaced, as opposed to the shocks themselves.

They are Bilstein, they offer a rebuild service if the shocks need it. Any specialist should be able to remove them and send them out to be serviced. You can also adapt it to the new controller that gives you the ability to adjust the shocks through a phone app. The early BR setup used H&R springs.
