Hi all,

Been trawling through old posts but can't find the answer.....

I just traded my 08 DB9 for a MY 2015 DB9 (with only 6ks - oh and that's KMS) . Yes, I know, I'll sort some pics!

I left my Bovee dongle wassname in the 08 as I believed the 2015 had inbuilt bluetooth streaming. I looked through the book and it suggests that I select 'BT' on the 'Mode' button.... alas, I do not seem to have 'BT'.

Those of you that have BT audio streaming native in the car - is there something I'm not doing or is it that I don't have BT audio streaming?

Sean, on my 2015 DB9 it works exactly as it should. There is a BT option (activated by the Mode button) that turns on streaming from my paired phone. The system works well with excellent sound quality. You can’t control the phone from the car (e.g. to search for stored tracks) but it does display what is being played. See pictures attached.

Unfortunately I am of no help to diagnose what may be going on with your own car.

Thank you ram_g for this. My car does not come up with 'BT' in the mode - so that's the reason. I'll go back to one of those Bovee wotsits.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I assume you’ve already successfully paired your phone?

Yep - I believe so. I can make and receive calls......

BT doesn't show when I press the 'Mode' button. I assume it shows all the time.... Or maybe does it only show when the phone is connected properly? Maybe I'll try deleting the phone and trying again?

Did your BT show before you connected your phone?

I honestly don’t recall! I don’t think I tried it that way, I think I paired the phone first before experimenting with the streaming.

Since the ‘15s are supposed to have streaming I would attempt a bit of troubleshooting before going back to the add on device. Maybe try pairing a different phone if you have access to one? Or if you have a relationship with a dealer go see them and ask what’s up?
