In this discussion I would like to show You my biggest 2023 project which took me a year time to have it done.

I have bought damaged 2019 Vantage to the front left corner, back in dec 2022, repaired this car and made complete Vantage F1 carbon bodykit upgrade.

From this:

to this:

I didn't work on the car everyday, but it's been during repairs for a year time with me.

In the big shortcut:

- repaired the car from accident damage,
- made 93 carbon parts from scratch for this model ! (over the time hope to reach 100 pieces)
- completed F1 bodykit including all parts to change from hunter grille to vaned grille version,
- retrimmed complete interior in alcantara with custom design
- made engine bay carbonised.

In the following comments I will be making updates on the works which have been done during that time.

I am very proud of this project and hope it will be interesting to share smile

Thank You!

After the car got disassembled from all the components, we have done the bowydork and preparation for painting.
We did the painting of the complete body in Lime essence to make perfect matching of all the parts, we did assembly all body components and painted at one time to make perfect matching of the colour.

Really appreciated! We are doing our best, buying highest quality components in the market directly imported from Germany and Italy, which are subjected to quality controls and approvals, the parts production takes time, but that's why my parts have positivie feedback. I do care about the quality, as I do am also Aston Martin enthusiast and owner I use those parts for my projects, and want to have something what I can be proud of.

I bought this Vantage with damaged front left suspension. After disassembling more, I found out that the left chassis suspension Tower was also damaged, so then decided to replace it with new part (it is restricted with AM, but had a fortune to find one in the market).
I thought it will be enough, but digging the damage further we found out that the drivetrain system in this car is that stuff, that the gearbox got damage in the place where You fix the bracket to the chassis. Under that fact, we decided to remove complete drivetrain system. To replace the gearbox with new.

Because of the fact that we are doing carbon fiber parts. I wanted to save this car in my collection, so we removed all the interior parts to make the moulds for producing complete carbon interior set.

At that stage, the car was completely disassembled. We have done the painting, and working on making exterior and interior forged carbon parts for it. So in the meantime started assebling mechanical parts to the car.

Another update on the works:

I bought this car with damaged front left suspension, after the car came, we saw that the gearbox housing got damaged.

I repaired since now 5 mercedes-era Astons, and in 3 of them or the gearbox housing or the differential housing were damaged. This is probably caused that the moutings of gearbox are very strong but the gearbox housing not, and after impact it get cracked in the housing instead of mounts, like with most of the cars. In this case I predict that gearboxes might be pretty desirable parts...

I had to remove complete drivetrain system to replace gearbox and repair some other constructional parts.

Current status:

Drivetrain is back in in the car. Waiting for front suspensions to be fixed, and then we starting assembling the back of the car with interior.

Not big, but one of the most complex and difficult parts we have done in forged carbon so far.

We stripped entirely whole wing mirrors, made the moulds of every part of the wing mirror except side indicator. Next produced them in forged carbon. This was the very beggining of our journey, because during assembling everything together we found soo many difficulties making all parts fitting perfectly. Plastic components are very simple, but stiff carbon fiber is super difficult to align. After weeks of development we end up with full forged carbon wing mirrors!
In the end we succeed! Now wing mirrors are fully ready to fit to the car!
