Intersting news considering the continuing drop in sales figures.
Let's hope the sales for DB12 and the new Vantage will fix this.

The key word is “agency”. Not on the AML books as headcount

When I read that news a couple of weeks ago, I thought I recalled AML geting rid of agency staff a few months back.
I therefore looked for a news item about those lay-offs, but could not find anything. That was a puzzle, because I was sure a first report said redundancies, later clarified as agency staff. If no one can corroborate that, maybe my marbIes are beginning to fail.

The cynical might suggest, that a report about hiring more staff (suggesting good prospects and future growth), might be helpful preceeding a request for more money. On the 1st November 2023, AML stated, 'we intend to undertake a fulsome refinancing exercise during the first half of 2024.'

fulsome /ˈfʊls(ə)m/
adjective

1. complimentary or flattering to an excessive degree.

2. of large size or quantity; generous or abundant.

My first thought too.
