I have searched for this and can not find anyone with a similar issue unfortunately….

My window have a mind of it’s own!

My driver’s side window decides it prefers being open. I get in, fire it up, smile at the sound, then the window decide to open. It then just stays there. It clicks if the door is open. Then randomly decides to go back up. This has been happening for a few weeks.

New issue today after changing the battery (ball ache) that is now also opens after I take the key out.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Hmm, unhelpful response, but sounds like the door modules are plying up. I thought it was only the DB9.1 that suffered, but maybe not.

I thought that maybe the case. Thank you for your response though. I have booked her in to Aston for a service and investigation….next call is to my bank to remortgage to cover the cost hahaha.

You've probably already tried re-setting the windows?

Wind it down and then back up and keep your finger on the switch until you hear some feint clicking noise, when it's fully closed. When the clicking noise stops, the window should be re-set.

I have tried recalibrating it, as it was recommended to do so after battery swap. It does that clicking noise when the door is open and window down, it does it constantly. But yes, I’ve tried that a lot. I’ve got a feeling it’s the window module.
