2015 Vanquish electrical fault
Discussion
I need help with an electrical issue.
I have had my 2015 Vanquish just under three years and it’s my daily drive so I’ve done about 20,000 miles in the past three years with no issues.
In September 23 whilst driving all the warning lights came on and the car came out of gear.
I turned it off and tried starting it, the dash lit up but it would not start.
After 10 minutes it started and I got it home and called the AA.
There were loads of error codes which they deleted, it started and drove fine for a day before the same issue occurred again.
I called the AA only this time the codes would not delete, eventually it started and I got it recovered to an auto electrician.
It was there for two months but during the two months the fault didn’t come up.
He checked all the connections etc and spoke to Aston Martin.
I collected the car in December and it’s been driving fine since then until last night when whilst driving it came out of gear, all the warning lights came and it would not start.
It is an intermittent electrical fault but sods law when it’s in the auto electricians it won’t come up.
Error code is “lost communication with TCM” amongst others, the dash lights up but it won’t start, interesting thing is the fan comes on even though it’s not hot.
If anyone can help diagnose this, I would appreciate it.
