DB11 Accident repair + customisation Project.
Discussion
New project on the way!
I am during repair which is on the pretty far stage of works, and starting working on carbon fiber upgrade on my DB11.
The most attracing feature will be making front end more aggressive, so we are making DBS OHMSS style front end on DB11.
The complete kit will include:
Vaned front grille
Front bumper
Front bumper splitter
Air ducts between bumper grilles and side radiators.
This will allow to keep front hood/bonnet without modifications, only fitment of front end parts.

- off course this is not for purists, but for someone who want to make the car looking more aggressive 😉
Any updates on this project? My DBS bumper is getting painted and I hope to have everything put back together in 2-3 weeks on my DB11 V8. Curious if the V12 is the same as the V8 in terms of body dimensions. I had to modify the upper bumper flanges where it bolts to the car a fair amount as well as dealing with constriction in the upper corners of the grille and bumper. Used the same air ducts with some minor alterations and secured them slightly high into the bumper bar. I wonder if it would be a direct fit if a DBS hood was available.
Hi Michal, here are the photos I posted on 6Speed. Before and after. Used old air ducts so a little weak in that area. Would be real interested in your air ducts when available, even if prototypes. A whole lot of grinding, cutting, and snipping to fit bumper and grille. DBS bumper seemed to be broader, rounder, and deeper than DB11. Adapted DB11 undertray to fit, still need to add to fender liners. Lower wiring harness is a little short and is visible. Good enough for now and will tweak as time goes on. Charlie
I put this project a while ago on a side, but since last 2 weeks continue it.
Its each to their own. I am not a fan of shark db11 front look, and much prefer big grille, which makes the car looking more aggressive. So I decided to make db11 front end conversion with DBS OHMSS front vaned grille.
I have bought original dbs superleggera front bumper with carbon splitter to get the front end modified.
On the very beginning it was looking as a straightforward job, but in reality it isn't.
As for now I produced custom side air ducts which are totally different to db11, and customised nearly perfect front bumper to achieve all perfect lines around. It will need a little filler on the edges to achieve perfect flat surfaces and matching to front hood.
The next works;
I am about to make mould of the customised perfect fitting front bumper and reproduce whole bumper out of carbon fiber. And the last step will be carbon fiber vaned front grille!
Can't wait for the final look!
