V8 vantage broke down again

I had similar in mine, I traced it to a faulty relay in the boot fuse board, swapped it with the spare one that was in the same fuse board, opened the door and it primed up. This was 8 months ago, been perfect since and only cost £4.! I’m not great mechanically, just come across a thread from a lady in America who experienced this, probably worth a shot? Just need the relay/fuse diagram for your fuse board?

I cannot add pics for 14 days on here sadly Swampyv8 said:
I wouldn’t have the first clue about swapping a board, I was able to change the fuse and it primed straight away etc.
I bought a load of fuses as spares until I can find the cause of the short
Umm...I bought a load of fuses as spares until I can find the cause of the short
Caution advised with this approach. Even worse I knew somebody with a Jag X-type which kept blowing a 10A fuse, so he solved it by putting in a 30A fuse. Which worked okay for a while. Until it set fire to the wiring loom anyway. Honestly I'd let the AM tech find the trouble for you. Modern car wiring is a minefield if you aren't sure what you're doing.
Due respect to John...
I have often known relays to fail but I've only once seen one dead-short and blow fuses. (Defender fuel pump relay). But his suggestion is such a simple check that it's worth a try if you're curious. The worst case is it costs another fuse.
That said, if you're not confident about electric stuff I still think you're best advised to wait for the techie.
He'll be insured to do it, you're not. Just a thought.
Good luck mate.
