"Baby Aston As Good As It Gets"
1st opinion summary...
SENSATIONAL, spectacular, superb... the V8 is all three. But the Aston Martin is as good to drive as it is to look at, and that is what excites us the most. The world wanted this model to be great, and our first impression is that it will surpass all expectations. *****
The part I wanted to hear was:
"Drivers lucky enough to step from the DB9 into the V8 will be impressed by the smaller model's supple suspension, which provides substantial grip and outstanding stability. There is no hint of understeer when pushing hard into corners"
Just off to the loo !!

Cue cartoon of sad tarred and feathered man banished from the Aston Martin Club.
"The man who called his AM a "convertible" at the annual dinner ..."
I only called it a convertible because I can spell the word. I can't spell Volaunty.
The man who didnt call his Volante by that name, but by "the C word" wasnt banished. Much, much worse...
(of course, if its before 1966 it can be either a DHC or Convertable, or a "short chassis volante".
Mind you, calling the slowest, smallest car in the Aston range the "Vantage" might mean that they will call the Volante version somehting else- afterall, "V8 Vantage Volante" is a bit of a mouthful these days. Maybe it'll be the V8 Vantage C-max, or Vantage2 (the Vantage3, of course will be the fast version), or Vantage C....
